Episode Context

Sitting at episode 170 of 366, this continues a stretch of filler content that began after the Hueco Mundo arc's early momentum, following the introduction of a new captain in episode 168 and the mysterious transfer students' arrival in 169. This episode deepens the setup for the Kasumiōji arc by fleshing out its central characters and hinting at the conflicts to come. Subsequent episodes will further unravel the secrets surrounding Rurichiyo and the dangers pursuing her.
