I am happy the Bount arc is done at last and seeing Kariya turn to dust felt like a massive weight off my shoulders

Episode Context

Episode 108 serves as the climax of the anime-original Bount arc, bringing the extended conflict between Ichigo and Kariya to its decisive moment after escalating battles across the previous several episodes. It directly follows the intensified clash in Episode 107 and leads into Episode 109, which handles the arc's resolution and aftermath. The Bount arc is entirely filler, so viewers skipping non-canon content can safely bypass this stretch without losing any connection to the main storyline.
