EPISODE REVIEWS

My brain was about to rot after the Bount arc but seeing those flashbacks from the manga made me feel like things are back on track and Ulquiorra finally showing up in that crater is a huge deal

Episode Context

Episode 109 lands directly after the conclusion of the filler Bount arc, functioning as a transitional cooldown before the canon Arrancar arc kicks off. It carries no plot-critical developments, serving instead as connective tissue between two major stretches of the series. For viewers pushing through to the Arrancar saga, this can be safely skipped without missing narrative progression.
