The plot takes an incredibly wild, infamously bizarre detour into hot spring fanservice mixed with high-stakes infiltration logic. Character designs get a temporary shift to traditional robes and towels, breaking the otherwise tense atmosphere. Visuals utilize heavy steam overlays and soft lens flares to mask the chaotic action sequences happening in the bathhouse.Specific Moment: Iyo's ribbon accidentally being pulled, which triggers a massive magical energy explosion due to the rules of her specific Order, highlighting the show's completely unpredictable logic.
Major exposure for important plot point here as the focus from UN shifted into a unexpected new yet familiar threat to Eiji. While writing and animation stays high quality, pace are all over the place. A little bit of fanservice too, but nothing too crazy.
This episode finally starts digging into the consequences of Eiji’s original wish and why so many people around him seem unable to trust him. The focus is on betrayal, both real and perceived, as alliances become less stable and hidden motives begin surfacing. What stood out most was how the series tried to make Eiji question whether his actions are actually helping anyone or simply making things worse. The episode does a decent job building tension because you never feel completely sure who is being honest. While some reveals come a bit abruptly, the growing distrust between characters adds needed drama to the story. It is one of the stronger episodes so far because the conflict feels more personal instead of relying entirely on flashy powers.
