Casca's outburst towards MC was great at showing her anger all 3 years he was favored by the commander. Many of the soldiers downplayed and diminished her feelings, which lead to the eventual anger. MC and her have huge differences in both combat and personalities, so they clash.

Good episode, Several character expositions while implicating the social standing of Griffith and the Band of the Hawk within the politics of this world. Nobles in this episode look past achievements and place higher importance on status, just as Griffith had said.

The conversation between Guts and Griffith was plot progressive and addressed what the previous episode left to interpretation. Guts feels rightfully suspicious of Griffith's necklace, which makes Griffith a little suspicious to not realize its ominous presence.

Griffith’s ambitions extend beyond the battlefield as he navigates noble politics with unsettling confidence.

UP: The political intrigue begins! The hunt scene builds tension. Griffith's relationship with Charlotte adds complexity. DOWN: This episode is mostly setup slower after the Zodd climax. But the conspiracy brewing is interesting. 🎯

What a goosebumps episode specially when Guts and Griffith topic was devil and god plus the world. it is very deep that it can reflect on our daily lives. also epic line for zodd giving us some hint it seems he can see the future. OMG

The "Golden Age" vibes are strong here. Everyone is (mostly) happy.

Politics enter the battlefield. Power now has rules, and those rules feel far more dangerous than swords.

EPISODE CONTEXT

Sitting at episode seven of twenty-five, this marks a critical pivot point where Berserk transitions from establishing its protagonists through warfare into the political conspiracies that will drive the season's middle act. The aftermath of the Zodd encounter in episode six raised the supernatural stakes; now the series grounds itself in human ambition and court intrigue. This episode lays essential groundwork for the power struggles and shifting loyalties that will escalate dramatically in the episodes ahead.
