WE got a tournament episode. the team finally working together and the animation for the match is very decent.
This was a nice aftermath episode that shows what happens when victory and defeat arrive through unusual circumstances. The pacing here is slower and it gives Toraji and Tamaki a quiet moment together which is quite nice. I can feel the weight of the loss here especially since it is treated as a natural consequence rather than a dramatic tragedy.
Damnit, I really hate that outcome but it was a wise choice in the end. In fact, I think it was a tasteful choice. Well, except for Kirino's situation that got ruined by another funny moment. NONETHELESS, great episode. Just seeing everyone having fun was worth it. Absolutely wholesome and mild tear inducing ending as well. Good all rounder.
