a recovery episode after the previous one. miyako finally getting azuma to fully commit to the team and they are both entertaining to watch.

This was such an intense and satisfying episode, it combines an unsportsmanlike antagonist with multiple match outcomes and delivers one of the most satisfying kendo sequence I have ever seen. The pacing here is very good it utilizes well the parallel match structure across four different characters to build the tension. The fight choreography during Tamaki's revenge was so beautiful, it was so detailed and awe striking, both the animation and the choreography here is top notch!

What a cliff hanger, and just when it was getting good! I really wanted to see the conclusion to Tamaki's fight. But I gotta say, I wished the other fights didn't use the character's gimmicks to hinder them - I want to see them shine! I'd say this time the funny stuff wasn't warranted but it helps the script for Tamaki's fight. I accept it for now.
