Attack on Titan: The Last Attack

My very first review on MyAnimeList after seeing and finishing this film during an snowy day was worth seeing this film even if it was compilations pf the first two TV specials of the Final Chapter. The story stands about the same though I believe it has some additional extra scenes (especially at the more gory details starting from first out of four chapters) that may not have been screen other than the film itself. The color tones have really improved just an bit to saturated from TV special quality. The character developments with AOT characters are still spot on to no surprise (especially the sacrifices during Rumbling again starting from first chapter). The music always brings it to home stretch from both epic, tragic, and reminiscence put altogether. But the most important thing I wanted to see was an special scene after post credit which delivers an very different The End feeling than the usual from TV special which (I highly recommend starting with film version) is more appropriate conclusion in my opinion.

My favorite soundtrack was the scene where the soldiers arrived on the scene. The music played a huge role in emphasizing it as a turning point in the series. The movie as a whole was incredible. Every moving part had its own story, working together as one.

Haha, the scene with the trio in a modern au was so cute. It really softened the impact of the finale and gave it a more hopeful notion. The only thing about the series I felt wasn't explored that well was Mikasa and Eren's relationship post season 3

Watching both specials together was amazing; despite the airtime being really long, the tension built and undying character drive can be felt through the screen. Its intensity is unparalleled and really immersive.
