Ascendance of a Bookworm Season 2
Oshimeter
Synopsis
When Myne learns that the Holy Church is in need of mana for their relics, she sees it as her chance to be cured of her life-threatening mana disorder. After seeing their bountiful library, she throws herself headfirst into the Church's grasp and begs to join their order. In exchange for her service and her unusually bountiful supply of mana, Myne is given the blue robes of a noble-born apprentice priestess, despite being a commoner. To Myne, all this talk of mana and nobility is trivial, as she now has access to an unlimited supply of books! As Myne transitions into the next phase of her life in this new world, she soon learns that achieving her dream has come at a heavy cost. Noble society is severe, unforgiving, and fueled by politics and neglect. She must now deal with the class conflict between the noble-born blue robes and the common-born grey robes, the High Priest's attempts to oust her, and constant behavioral issues from her new retainers. With the help of her family, friends, and the enigmatic Head Priest whose loyalties and motives remain unknown, Myne seeks to overcome these obstacles and continue on the path to becoming her ideal self—the ultimate librarian!

Part of the pacing is off, like the urgency feeling is lost in part of the episode, but on the other part.... God I was really tense, also the way of Ferdinand to handle the issue was great, like "following your logic..." Sublime, it also opened the door for the last chapter, I have high hopes for the next one
Once again the world is expanded, there was a lot shown on this episode although there's not much context it seems like on future episodes a lot would be explained, it felt like the manage or sequence to point that some time has passed between one event and the other it's not really clear, but in general it was a good episode
Honestly although it was a calm episode, I really enjoyed the protagonist's reactions, I caught myself thinking "lol I'm the same", also noticed some changes in the animation, and at the we got like a hint of the upcoming plot. (Or at least that's what I think)
his is the last episode for the whole season 2, and it's a big wow. The whole season is really worth the individual rating, and all the story and character development are really different. The awe for all the scenarios that happened and how they were resolved is chief kiss.
In this episode, I love how intriguing the situation is, like how the character shows off everything and makes people leave in awe because of the amusement and the beautiful effect of each strong personality. This anime is really worth following all the episodes, so rating 10/10.
In this episode, it's really kind of annoying yet amazing, with so many new things happening and an unexpected scenario popping up in the story. This is really good and worth the rate of 9/10. But still, I love how the characters show that they are strong.
In this episode, it really shows things that break our hearts, but at the same time, it makes us proud. This anime is really worth watching and gives it a 9/10. It's also highly recommended to watch the whole season from 1 to the latest season of this.
In this episode, it really shows the beautiful outcome of the love and respect for each other's boundaries and how they trust each other. It's really a heartwarming episode that is rated 10/10, a wholesome and full of love episode that is really worth watching.
Beautiful, simply beautiful, the art shown was stunning, the details were amazing, although the growth of a character was accelerated it was also shown that the damage was done some years ago, so it could be that most of the process was not shown, also we saw some development from the protagonist, I would even call it mature behavior, considerate and empathetic
I liked the introduction of the new characters and their background, it's well handed, empathetic but still firm, also loved to hear some music and sing, didn't expect it as usually that's not found on non musical series, with some details here and there I like how the story is evolving in this season
In this episode, it really shows how simple it can be, but it can have a big impact on a life. Living in a reality that we can't run from. It's really worth watching and to rate it 10/10 because of different point in life between culture and love.
The start was great, honestly the reaction is understandable as there is a lot of miscommunication, however the way it was handled was kind of superficial, I think even in reality there are a lot of similar situations, misunderstandings and non speaken words, it was fine to see a representation but I didn't feel a progress or a real understand between the parts
The chapter was really calm, more focused on the work of the protagonist to improve things than actually moving forward with the lore, I like how they showed a bit of the whole process and even hinted at some of Lutz reality. It's starting to feel fast paced, like some things may go as unimportant when in some way affects a character
The harsh reality showed up, the fact that Myne actually took the time to consider things and hear opinions was something I really appreciate as she could be too obsessed with books, also I really like that the animation tried to represent the situation as real as possible
I love to see a character improving, I'm really enjoying the new dynamics and development, for moments it feels fast paced but nothing that affects the chapter too much, also liked that we are getting more and more details of other characters realities, it makes me wonder how bad it really is
I liked that Myne got a quick reality check, although she loves books she is repeating some patterns we already saw on the first season, and actually like it that she listened and tried to improve as soon as possible, the character development it's getting better
Honestly I was expecting this kind of episode next season, but it was really like really well done, the style used and way to represent an abstract space was beautiful, although it could come as simple it shows creativity, also it really made me cry, they were able to communicate emotions... A really good chapter
In this episode, it is a really good anime to follow, as it shows acceptance and forgiveness alongside love. It shows how character development really matters per episode, and it's awesome to witness that it has. It is really worth watching and has a rating of 10/10.
The episode was a major success to elevate the storyline that the author was trying to build up. It was a wholesome and emotional episode, amazing!! The season was a success because they have shown one of the purpose of the series since season 1.
