The Magical Revolution of the Reincarnated Princess and the Genius Young Lady
Oshimeter
Synopsis
Carrying memories of a past life on Earth, Princess Anisphia lives in a world full of magic and can't use a single spell. Instead of moping about it, she renounces her claim to the throne and starts inventing her own brand of magic-adjacent science she calls 'magicology': think broomstick flight powered by engineering rather than incantations. Then her younger brother, the actual heir, decides to publicly humiliate his fiancée Euphyllia by annulling their engagement in the most dramatic way possible. Anis crashes through a window on her homemade broom, scoops Euphyllia up, and essentially says 'you're my research assistant now.' From there, it's a 12-episode TV series about two very different women figuring out what they actually want out of life while doing magical experiments together. The relationship between Anis and Euphyllia is the real core here: it starts as an awkward arrangement and gradually becomes something genuinely tender, with both characters pushing each other to confront the roles society assigned them. If you liked the slow-burning emotional honesty of Yagate Kimi ni Naru or the way Shoujo Kakumei Utena uses fantasy to interrogate power structures, this one hits similar notes with its own flavor. Diomedéa's animation keeps the fantasy world looking sharp, and the magicology concept gives the isekai angle something concrete to do instead of just being a backstory footnote. It balances lighthearted banter with real emotional weight without feeling like it's jerking you around between the two.

The finale looked gorgeous, and the magic visuals were stunning without losing the emotional side of the story.
The lore reveals in this episode completely change how the whole story feels going forward.
You can really feel how exhausted everyone is here. Even the quieter scenes feel emotionally heavy.
This episode felt way more intense than expected. The emotional tension never really lets up.
The quieter emotional scenes hit surprisingly hard here. Lainie feels genuinely vulnerable.
I really liked the trust between the characters here. The relationships feel genuine instead of forced.
Tilty fits into the group perfectly and her sarcastic energy bouncing off Anisphia makes every conversation entertaining.
The darker atmosphere here really stood out. The forest scenes felt tense the whole time.
This episode slows things down nicely. Euphyllia’s softer side adds a lot more warmth to the story.
Anisphia geeking out over her inventions is weirdly fun to watch, and Her excitement makes the world feel more alive.
King Orphans completely losing his patience with Anisphia was honestly hilarious.
Anisphia instantly steals every scene. Watching her covered in monster blood while acting completely cheerful hooked me immediately.
Excuse me, sir... IT’S SO GAYY ONG. Even so, lucky it was just a 2D animation. Yep, this episode is PEAK, the magic visuals are obviously epic, and don’t even question the emotional impact, it almost made me cry. Oh yeah, one more thing... if Anis’s mana sword moved like it was actually overflowing with mana, it would’ve been really cool instead of a static animation. Welp, it’s still alright. Overall rating for the anime is 9.6/10.
Bro, the VA did a really great job in this episode. Plus, the animator draws the faces as emotionally as possible, they’re feeding this anime a medium well 5 star beef. This is at least better than the Algard vs Anis emotional depth from the previous episode, the depth really felt at this one. W animation.
OK THIS EPISODE GOT A LOT OF YURI INTERACTIONS and the cliffhanger got me tweaking, bro. The emotional build-up in this episode felt a bit off, so it didn’t really hit that deep. Plus, the soundtrack in certain scenes was a little too loud, making the VA’s voices harder to hear. Still, this episode was mainly used as a bridge to the next one, so it was alright at least.
AL!!!!! MY GOD, I never thought it was going to turn out like this. The execution of the final conflict was so good... what a little brother he was. I'm really satisfied with how the characters interact with each other, it feels alive, real, and honestly pretty based. By far the most emotional episode in this anime so far.
FUHHHH, CLIFFHANGER, DAMN IT! This was definitely a great buildup for the next episode. I don’t know if it’s just me, but the frame quality felt a bit dropped here. Still, it was covered up by an epic soundtrack and great pacing, so no problem.
OH NAHH, this anime is somehow adapting stuff from the real world, like explaining technology to boomers who still cling to tradition. Well, at least the people here actually have brain cells. Yep, the visuals, tense buildup, awkwardness, and everything else are good and watchable, even if you’re sleepy.
What a " way" to explain something that’s literally the root of the problem, LOL. This episode contains some light fan service, so keep that in mind if you’re under 18. Other than that, everything else is totally fine.
Hold on, EXPLO- WHAT?! And why does that sword look like the Cursed Holy Sword!!?! OMG, I don’t even know if they intentionally put references to other anime in this, but I recognized it immediately. ALSO, THE ANIMATION QUALITY IS PEAAAAKKK. This is by far one of the most epic new-gen isekai anime I’ve found. All the action scenes in this episode went far beyond my expectations. Absolutely epic.
