This ep is a total emotional rollercoaster and the stakes at Green Gables are finally hitting hard. We get the heavy character depth needed to see Matthew and Marilla’s vulnerability when everything goes wrong, and Anne’s loyalty is unmatched.

I felt like this episode was to show the growth of Anne. It may have been only 8 episodes but we saw so many sides of her and how she's become the teenager she is. I'm excited to see how she develops in college.

This is a great episode but it has some pacing issues. The timeskip was fast but understandable since it's an adaptation to a manga and an older series. The tone was nostalgic since the characters were maturing, physically, emotionally, and mentally. But somehow noticed that the animation quality dropped here than the earlier episodes.
