I just love to see women winning! Anne has always been ambitious and poet so when Mathew and Marilla have a moment of pride for her, it feels incredibly special. The foreshadowing in the last moments are scary.

It was a refreshing episode with a new setting and priorities The artwork reminded me of Studio Ghibli's style. The animation was great and fluid, except for the CGI horse again. The pacing was perfect, not dragging too long on the school scenes, and more focused on the plot points. That scene between Anne and Matthew was sentimental, and the visuals were captivating.
