This ep is a total emotional rollercoaster and the stakes at Green Gables just skyrocketed. We finally get the intense drama and character depth needed to see how the town reacts when Anne accidentally serves Diana currant wine instead of raspberry cordial.
The stakes have been raised. I felt that before this episode the story felt very slice of life but the prospects for some characters leaves me worried. I'm also concerned from the rough feelings between Gilbert and Anne.
Confusing timeskip with how the newly short-haired Anne got back her long hair. An emotional roller-coaster episode. Probably the most hilarious of that girl's role-playing games. Their innocence gives that nostalgic vibe, along with the scenic background. Also, a subtle romantic spark brewing on that boat ride, while the tone gets serious on the career path talk. Shocking cliffhanger!
