I didn't think they would nail the atmosphere of the town this well, and the falling snow combined with the warm lighting inside the boarding house really sold the winter mood for me. Mizuki is definitely the best choice for the first episode, and her playful personality makes the romantic scenes feel much more real than just a random encounter.
