I like how this episode humanizes the antagonist' group, they even explored the various Teigu they have. The character writing here is excellent as the Jaegers felt like a real team rather than just a bunch of ragtag villains. The pacing is steady and focuses more on characters.

The full display of Imperial Arms effects is portrayed well in this episode. The story shifting kills me off. I find it hilarious how the tone changes unexpectedly with the plot progression. Esdeath and Tatsumi’s interactions are pretty lively. Good foreshadowing is used here.

Can't lie, I WOULD FOLD. Regardless, this episode shows how twisted Esdeath vision of what love looks like: control, domination and survival. You'd have to wonder what kind of life she lived to the point even a pure emotion like love can get so twisted into such a toxic belief.
