This is pure, explosive action! Satō is proving why he’s the ultimate villain; the way he caught everyone off guard and cut off their communications shows that he is undoubtedly two steps ahead.
The country was really prepared for the fight with the Ajin, and they didn’t use any of that until the very end, after so many people had died. It’s a direct commentary on politics and bureaucracy. I love how everything from the first season is being used. I’m also starting to think that Sato really doesn’t have any plan; he just wants war and violence. Sato opened his eyes, so... everyone is fucked.
Possibly one of the most thrilling episodes so far, the tension and excitement are consistent throughout the episode, and it ends in a pretty interesting cliffhanger, too.Gotta say Sato is a man of his word, and the way he executes his plans is thoroughly interesting.
