The country was really prepared for the fight with the Ajin, and they didn’t use any of that until the very end, after so many people had died. It’s a direct commentary on politics and bureaucracy. I love how everything from the first season is being used. I’m also starting to think that Sato really doesn’t have any plan; he just wants war and violence. Sato opened his eyes, so... everyone is fucked.
