Don't expect big tennis action here; this one is all about the characters. The atmosphere, music, and subtle expressions are incredible, and Hiromi's journey makes every scene feel meaningful. Such a beautiful emotional episode.

This episode feels so different from the others. Hiromi's quiet behavior says more than words ever could, and her interactions with Ranko and Maki carry so much emotion.

Such a heavy episode. It's sad knowing they just didn't have the technology yet to treat the disease but I love how the director grounds the story in real world history like that.

Episode Context

Positioned at the midpoint of the 13-episode run, this episode follows 'A Diary That Was Left,' which planted the seeds of loss and reflection. Episode 6 deepens that emotional fallout, making it a pivotal turning point in the season's tone. It directly sets up Episode 7, 'Into Sadness,' signaling that the series is fully committed to an extended arc of grief and resilience before any forward momentum resumes.
