It's not just "punch harder" — there's actual depth to how phases and cultivation interact, which gives the fights real stakes and strategy. The animation does a solid job bringing the fantasy world to life, and the soundtrack hits when it needs to.

The core tension is compelling: a guy who should be powerful but can't access any of it, trying to claw his way back while protecting what's left of his family's name. If you liked the cultivation grind in Douluo Dalu or the world-building in Wan Yu Zhi Wang, this scratches a similar itch. Fans of Mo Dao Zu Shi who want something more action-focused might find a lot to like here too.
