It's amazing to watch Lena reveal the identity of the 86 as just a bunch of teenagers who also need human care. I am amazed to realise that Undertaker is quite an exceptionally good soldier!

We're shown how both Lena and the 86 view their very different lives. The differences in their views of reality are striking, and these differences also tie them together so well. This episode spends a lot of time building rapport between characters, and it's a great watch.

I liked seeing how the soldiers go through their day. They act like a family even though their situation is hard. I can definitely feel the injustice as the contrast between the soldiers' rooms and Lena's was clear. This episode also made me feel that Lena is still not welcomed.

EP 2 is so immersive. The world feels real, like you just understand their norms and why they think the way they do. It makes the brainwashing hit harder. The way the leaders dehumanize the 86 is so cruel it honestly makes me mad enough to want to jump in and fight them myself.

Empire's Legions attacked spearhead position as Lena witness Shin("Undertaker") to launch a counterattack and destroy the Legions powerful units. She's starting to have a positive impression for Shin, as Lena and Spearhead slowly warming up to each other.

Shin goes off in battle, taking down the Legion’s strongest units like it’s nothing. But the real hit comes in Lena's exposes the ugly truth: the Republic stripped the Colorata of rights and calls 86 deaths “non-human” losses. This episode is bold and emotional.

Episode 2 hits different Lena’s voice reaches people the Republic pretends don’t exist. You start seeing the 86 not as soldiers but as kids carrying ghosts. The moment they laugh, you feel how fragile it is. War didn’t steal their hearts, just buried them.

S1E02 In this episode Lena told the truth to the class that juggernauts on district 86 are being piloted by people that doesn't have an alba lineage and are regards as non-humans.

EPISODE CONTEXT

Building directly on the premiere 'Undertaker,' which laid the dystopian groundwork and introduced the principal cast, 'Spearhead' shifts focus to the operational relationship between Lena and the squadron she commands remotely — deepening the character dynamics and moral tensions that will escalate throughout the eleven-episode run. This episode establishes the emotional and thematic foundation for episode three, 'I Don't Want to Die,' where the stakes and personal costs of this war become even more immediate. It's a critical early-season piece that transforms the premise from setup into something you feel.
