Another great episode, despite being much slower - which is the best part. We finally see how the 86 look like without the ever-present threat of death, but all the same, their somber lives are brought to life through excellent direction and animation.

This episode was slow paced and a breath of fresh air.It was amusing to watch the remaining 5 soldiers walk freely ,enjoy a warm bath and sleep peacefully. I love the fact that Fido reminded them of their past memories too.

Seeing them outside the Republic, finally relaxing, felt so healing. Shin letting himself lean on someone made my heart full. Then Fido happened. I didn’t expect to cry over a robot, but he carried their memories. Saying goodbye to him felt like letting go of their past.

This episode feels calm and peaceful but sad at the same time. The team began to move on as they no longer forced to fight. However, the threat of Legion was always with them.

The episode feels calm but sad at the same time. Spearhead finally moves freely and even gets a small break in an abandoned town. But the quiet moments still hurt, especially Fido’s memories and that final explosion. Bittersweet and emotional.

This was a quiet and lonely episode. I liked seeing how the group traveled through this somewhat barren looking world. This felt like a road trip but full of danger. Seeing the old city made me curious about the old world. This was a nice, peaceful episode.

Spearhead finally gets peace in Episode 10 laughter by the river, fishing, dusty towns, and simple moments of life. But every smile carries the weight of memories they can’t shake. Freedom feels fragile, and you feel every loss beneath the quiet calm.

EPISODE CONTEXT

Coming off the gut-punch of Episode 9 'Goodbye,' this penultimate episode functions as an emotional exhale — a deliberate pause that lets the weight of everything the Spearhead Squadron has endured settle in before the cour's finale. It bridges the aftermath of the squadron's most harrowing challenges with the narrative momentum building toward Episode 11 'Here We Go,' where the overarching conflict demands re-engagement. As the second-to-last episode, its quieter focus on character bonds is clearly designed to maximize the impact of whatever the finale delivers.
