akane wearing his oversized shirt was such a trope but it worked so well for her character development in this specific scene

those lighting choices during their late night talk were a nice touch, even if the animation got a little stiff during the heavier movements

i think the pacing felt a bit rushed when they were talking about the landlady because i wanted to see more of them just hanging out in the living room

akane looked so flustered over the kitchen mishap and it made the episode feel way more like a real romance than just the usual stuff

the guy was surprisingly considerate of akane during that couch scene and it made the whole interaction feel kind of sweet

the montage at the start went on way too long and it wasted time that should have been used for the final ending

that shot of them on the balcony at the end was actually beautiful and made the whole roommate thing feel earned

hearing the voice acting sound so emotional during the final talk made me feel way more into it than just watching the fan service

The pacing felt a bit off in the middle, but the way they handled the confession after the neighbor started making noise again was a nice callback to the first episode.

akane wearing the shirt around the apartment is exactly what was needed and the animation for that part looked really nice

the shower moment really caught me off guard because the lighting was actually good for once and akane acting so flustered was the best
bakugo_blast_122's avatar
bakugo_blast_122
the dialogue in this one was kind of awkward and the guy needs to stop acting like he has no idea what is happening

I was waiting for them to finally address the whole living situation and the ending definitely delivered on that front. The way Akane looks at him during the final scene felt a lot more genuine than the earlier episodes, and it makes the romance side of things actually land well for once. Seeing them finally stop making excuses and just go for it was great.

it felt like they rushed the ending a bit but at least the art stayed consistent during the bed scene

akane finally stopped being shy about wanting him and that kitchen scene was so intense

He looked after her when she was flustered, which felt sweet even if the premise of them living together like that is totally ridiculous and unlikely

My mood really improved when he gave her that small gift at the end and it shows he really does care about her comfort in the house

Everything felt a bit rushed this time and they skipped over the actual conversation about their living situation just to get to the fan service stuff in the bathroom

EPISODE CONTEXT

Sitting at the midpoint of the series, Episode 6 arrives after the core relationship dynamic has been firmly established between the two leads. This is the phase of the season where the initial shock of cohabitation gives way to deepening familiarity and emotional comfort, building the foundation for whatever escalation the later episodes deliver. It sets the stage for the final stretch while keeping the central tension alive.
