This episode kept me engaged throughout, thanks to all the bits of information and the hilarious moments between Konoha and Mamoru. I really love the rest of the characters, too and how well they get along with each other. Most of all, I loved Konoha's passion for making games - even though her knowledge of the 21st century couldn't really be transferred over, my girl really adapted and overcame.
This episode is a fascinating history lesson disguised as a cute comedy. Watching a modern digital artist try to comprehend 1990s hardware limitations like literally drawing pixel by pixel with a clunky old mouse is both hilarious and incredibly humbling. It really shows how much raw passion early game devs had to have just to get a basic image on screen. A super chill, cozy episode that makes you appreciate the roots of the gaming industry.
This episode is pure retro-tech vibes. Seeing the struggles of programming with limitations is fascinating. The pacing is heavy due to explaining the hardware but the chemistry of the crew keeps it alive.
