The episode did a good job introducing the new characters, giving them a nice presence in the story. The visuals and pacing also worked well, making the episode enjoyable to watch.
Wow, that was nice! I loved how they still put in a bit of comedy in the serious tone of the anime along the plot for this episode. It seemed they had dived into the lore for the MC to learn the truth, though I loved the vibe that this anime had with its mysterious and suspense mode. It had me anxious of what will happen to the characters.
The change in atmosphere was refreshing, especially after such a tense beginning. Teito, meanwhile, is already testing my patience a little 😂 I understand why he's guarded, but sometimes his instinct seems to be panic first and think later. Thankfully, meeting Frau, Castor, and Labrador made things much more entertaining. Labrador's gentle personality especially stood out to me immediately. There's something so calming about him that makes the church feel genuinely welcoming.
