The characters from the church are really fun and entertaining, and they add a lot of charm to the episode. The pacing is nice as well, keeping things moving smoothly and making it enjoyable to watch.
It felt like a calm before the storm type thing. This episode showed more of a beginning of something big that about to happen to the MC. I loved the friendship between them, it was very touching to see how loyal they were to their friend. The hint of desperation to help their important one was one of the things I loved about the MC and his friend!
At this point, Teito and I might have a complicated relationship 😀😀 His determination is admirable, but his confidence in handling everything alone doesn't always match what he's actually capable of doing. The church characters are quickly becoming the bigger attraction for me. Frau is effortlessly entertaining, Castor has this composed yet slightly suspicious charm, and Labrador is just impossible not to adore. Their different personalities work surprisingly well together.
