I really liked how this episode still felt like a warm-up while already delivering so much thrill. I loved the storytelling and how this became a major turning point for the arc. I’m SEATED for this and seriously looking forward to what happens next!

Holy cow, Razor is just built differently 😭 I already knew that from the start, but this episode still surprised me. I loved this episode because it was genuinely thrilling to watch. The story flow was really good, and even though this felt like just a warm-up, it was already amazing.

Episode Context

Hunter x Hunter transforms a dodgeball match into one of the most electrifying confrontations in the Greed Island arc. This episode runs on pure adrenaline and tactical brilliance, pitting Gon, Killua, and Hisoka against the imposing Razor in a game where every throw carries devastating force. The pacing is relentless, expect rapid strategic pivots, jaw-dropping displays of Nen ability, and the kind of unlikely alliance that only a battlefield can forge. Hisoka's unpredictable nature clashes beautifully with Gon's raw determination, while Killua anchors the team with sharp instincts. Themes of trust, sacrifice, and competitive fire dominate the episode's emotional core. The animation from Madhouse delivers the intensity this showdown demands, making each rally feel genuinely dangerous. This is peak shonen spectacle wrapped in surprisingly smart game mechanics.
