I’m really loving the story progression so far. Killua and Gon’s dynamic here was hilarious. I love it when they act childish and start bickering with each other 😆 Anyway, things keep getting more interesting as the story progresses.

This episode was actually great, leaning more into setting up something huge, probably. Anyway, I loved this episode! Watching Gon and Killua actually argue with each other might’ve been one of the funniest highlights here 😭

This episode leaned more into dialogue and showing the characters’ process of figuring out a strategy for the game. Razor was already really interesting, and honestly, I’m hoping to see more of him. Things are definitely getting more exciting now.

Episode Context

Hunter x Hunter shifts into game-mode territory as Gon, Killua, and Biscuit face off against a crew of pirates in a high-stakes challenge that blends combat with competitive sport. The episode thrives on strategic tension, every move matters, every decision carries weight. Expect rapid shifts between tactical planning and explosive action sequences, with Madhouse delivering fluid animation during the confrontations. The trio's teamwork is front and center, and the dynamic between the three continues to deepen as they're pushed to adapt under pressure. There's a playful energy underneath the intensity, true to Greed Island's game-world framework, but the stakes feel genuine. This is the kind of episode that rewards viewers who enjoy watching characters think their way through fights rather than simply powering through them.
