This episode was intense and had such high-stakes vibes. I really liked how everything was portrayed here—the story flow was gripping, and the characters’ emotions felt completely on point. This arc is getting SO good now.

Episode Context

This is Hunter x Hunter at its most electrifying, a high-stakes dodgeball match that plays out with the intensity of a life-or-death battle. Gon, Killua, and an unlikely alliance with Hisoka go head-to-head against Razor, and every throw carries weight. The episode thrives on its strategic depth, treating a seemingly simple game as a battlefield where Nen abilities, quick thinking, and raw determination collide. Expect a relentless pace with almost no downtime, the tension builds through clever tactics and jaw-dropping displays of power. Themes of trust and resilience anchor the spectacle, particularly as characters who wouldn't normally cooperate find reasons to rely on each other. The animation from Madhouse is sharp and kinetic, delivering sequences that hit with genuine impact. A standout action episode that rewards investment in this arc's buildup.
