I really like how things are progressing so far. This episode feels like it’s slowly approaching some major plot points. Seeing more players interact with the trio was actually pretty interesting and funny 😆 Probably because Killua is always ready to throw hands, lol.

This episode was lowkey great, focusing more on the game and strategies now. Despite the tension in some scenes, it still delivered hilarious moments that added a more lighthearted atmosphere to the episode.

Killua picking fights with women might honestly be one of the funniest things about his character, aside from his surprising gambling addiction 😭 That kid is really something. Anyway, this episode was great. The story progression is good so far, and it’s becoming even more intriguing to me.

Episode Context

Pure strategy episode. Hunter x Hunter shifts into full tactical mode here as Gon, Killua, and Biscuit navigate the complex social dynamics of Greed Island's player ecosystem. The focus is squarely on alliance-building and negotiation, expect extended dialogue sequences where characters weigh trust against self-interest, debating how to counter an escalating threat. The pacing is deliberate and methodical, more chess match than brawl, which makes this a quintessential setup episode. Madhouse leans into the tension of characters reading each other's intentions, and the writing rewards viewers who appreciate Hunter x Hunter's intellectual edge over its action beats. The collaborative energy between the core trio and other players gives this episode a satisfying ensemble feel. If you enjoy the show's strategic depth, this delivers exactly that.
