Killua and Biscuit’s dynamic was seriously hilarious. Their banter was honestly one of the funniest things in this arc. Then there’s Gon just being innocent and adorable 🥹 Anyway, I loved this episode! It felt lighter while still maintaining tension and intriguing moments that make you want to continue watching.

Lmfao. Why was this episode funnier than it should’ve been? 😭 I really liked this one. The balance between lighthearted and tense moments was handled really well, and it kept things interesting. Though honestly, I hope the arc is getting closer to a major turning point already.

This episode was really enjoyable to watch. It felt lighter and focused more on establishing plot points for this arc and maybe even future ones. Anyway, I really love the dynamic between Biscuit, Gon, and Killua.

Episode Context

Gon, Killua, and Biscuit shift into full tactical mode as the Greed Island arc hits its strategic stride. This episode is all about the chess match, the trio reunites and begins methodically working through card collection, leveraging everything they've learned so far. The pacing moves between careful planning sessions and energetic bursts of action, striking a satisfying balance that rewards patient viewers. Camaraderie between the three leads is front and center, and their growth as a unit is genuinely compelling to watch. Meanwhile, the background hums with tension as other players maneuver just out of sight, layering in intrigue without tipping the hand. If you enjoy episodes where smart characters actually act smart, this one delivers. Madhouse keeps the visual energy high even during dialogue-heavy stretches, maintaining momentum throughout.
