Hisoka still gives me the creeps. Kudos to his voice actor for portraying that unsettling vibe so well. Overall, this episode provided a good, satisfying closure to the arc.

Episode Context

This is the episode Heavens Arena has been building toward. Every lesson learned, every bruise earned in training, it all converges here as Gon finally steps into the ring against Hisoka. The tone is electric, balancing razor-sharp combat strategy with genuine emotional weight. Nen abilities take center stage, but this isn't just a power showcase, it's a character statement. The psychological chess match between Gon's determination and Hisoka's enigmatic amusement creates a dynamic that's simultaneously thrilling and unsettling. Expect brisk pacing that never lets the tension drop, with moments of introspection woven between the action beats. Themes of debt, pride, and what it means to stand on equal footing with someone far beyond your level give this confrontation a depth that elevates it well above a standard tournament fight.
