Alright, this time the Nen class is quite heavy to digest. But it’s still important information for future episodes. On the other hand, there’s Gon vs Hisoka! And it ends on a cliffhanger!

What a cliffhanger for such a hyped fight! This episode gave us great moments as their Nen training wraps up. I’m also curious to see how other characters develop through their own training.

Episode Context

The training wheels start coming off. Episode 35 shifts the Heavens Arena arc from classroom theory into something far more visceral, as Gon, Killua, and Zushi push their Nen understanding beyond fundamentals and toward personal mastery. The pacing balances methodical preparation against a mounting sense of inevitability, the collision course with Hisoka is no longer theoretical. Madhouse delivers sharp training sequences that feel purposeful rather than repetitive, layered with genuine camaraderie between the trio that gives emotional weight to the stakes ahead. Tension escalates steadily throughout, with the episode functioning as the deep breath before a plunge. Expect strategic depth, character-driven momentum, and an atmosphere that crackles with anticipation. This is the kind of episode that rewards patience, every scene is loading a gun that's about to fire.
