First half is Nen class and it might be boring, but it’s crucial to know for future episodes, like math class. Then Gon and Killua gear up to fight the new Nen-user villain. Gon takes on one of them!

A good episode that focuses on Nen learning while showing it in action through Gon Freecss’s fight. It feels more strategic than just power, as he starts thinking and adapting, making the fight more engaging

Gon not listening again? Lmfao, classic. I love how his personality stays consistent even as he grows stronger. This episode really highlights the contrast between Gon and Killua.

Episode Context

A training-centric episode that trades flashy arena fights for something more gripping: the weight of unlocking power too fast. Gon and Killua push hard into Nen under Wing's instruction, and the episode leans into the tension of that accelerated timeline. Expect a slower, more deliberate pace, this is worldbuilding and character investment, not spectacle. The show takes time to establish just how dangerous and consequential the Nen system is, giving real stakes to what could have been a standard power-up montage. Wing's role as mentor adds gravity, and both Gon's relentless determination and Killua's calculating nature get room to breathe. The tone sits between focused intensity and quiet suspense, Hunter x Hunter doing what it does best by making growth feel genuinely earned and perilous.
