There's something noticeably different about the atmosphere here. Some moments are genuinely funny, while others carry this uncomfortable tension that makes it difficult to completely relax. Chika and Shito continue being such opposites that putting them in the same story almost guarantees chaos. Michiru being stuck between all these strong personalities somehow makes everything even better. I'm definitely getting more curious about this cast.

In this episode, we learn a bit more about Chika and Shito. On one hand, we meet Chika's father and younger sister, both rather cartoonish in their personality tropes; and on the other hand, we have Shito, who receives a sudden visit from someone... with whom he shares a rather complex relationship. He addresses him as "Sama" but at the same time seems to have a certain control over him. When the team prepares to face the new threat, a rather crazy, Dr. Frankenstein-esque character, Shito and Chika have another fight that drives them apart. It certainly seems that this episode is preparing us for some very difficult moments to come.

Chika coming from the most healthiest family in the dorm says a lot about him as a person. It gives the contrast needed for characters like Shito with sus background and gives the interesting perspective of having more people by his side after his death. All the while, the story never forgets to keep the main storyline to pull the characters back into its conflict.
