I could actually feel how uncomfortable Akira was in that situation, it got pretty tense. And yeah, that boss was seriously annoying, every time he showed up it just made things worse.

Uh oh… trauma arc. Kosugi = capitalism demon reincarnated. Akira regressing hit way too real. This is where pacing starts feeling uneven though.

Shizuka is back and she's still the serious one. the dynamic between her chaos energy and Akira's chaos energy is fun. the RV stuff is ridiculous but the animation on the driving sequences? smooth. pacing is steady. 🚐

Episode Context

Episode 6 marks the halfway point of the season and a major narrative pivot, after Akira and Kencho's exploits in Tokyo across the first five episodes, this is where the story breaks free from its urban setting and commits to a road-trip structure. The shift sets up new alliances and escalating challenges that will define the back half of the season. It's a clear turning point from 'surviving in Tokyo' to 'chasing a larger purpose in a broken world.'
