Her acting all high and mighty while clearly losing her grip on reality is a choice. The middle part of the episode felt like it was dragging though

That hero character acting this unhinged is such a trip, especially when she starts losing her mind over her own body doing things she can't control

Thinking about how she treated the prince in the backstory makes me look at her current situation as some weird karma and her personality shift this episode was so entertaining

Miria just casually talking about showing her pants like it is the most normal thing in the world is hilarious and the animation during that transition was really smooth for this kind of show

Her design as a hero is actually pretty cool, and it is fun to watch a cocky character get put in her place by the monsters she was supposed to hunt.

it is ridiculous how she just ignores her royal duties to get into these situations and the voice acting really sells how much she is enjoying the trouble

Watching Milia basically forget she was supposed to be a hero and just start acting crazy and that scene where she just offers to show everyone her pants without a care in the world had me dying

the magic effects during the fight were actually decent and then everything just went south for her so fast once the monsters finally caught her

I was really surprised by the quality of the animation during the encounter in the woods, especially since she is supposed to be this unbeatable hero. Miria is kind of a brat but it makes the explicit stuff feel different than usual. I really liked the character design they went with for her hair and eyes in this episode specifically.

that scene in the dungeon with the guards was such a jump from how she usually acts and it shows she is losing her grip on being a proper princess

miria is definitely annoying but that part where she gets humiliated after being so arrogant about her hero title feels like some kind of weird justice

i cannot believe how miria acts during the battle because she just lets it happen and the art style for her outfit is actually really nice

i keep laughing at how miria insists she is an invincible hero while she is getting totally overwhelmed by the monsters in that forest

it was a huge mess when miria got stuck like that because the animation during that whole sequence was way better than the first episode
ichigo_inoue_67's avatar

the way she stole that hero title and then just goes around being so shameless is crazy and it makes the encounter with the guards feel much more desperate

This episode really pushed the princess image further, and the animation for the adult scenes definitely stepped up from the previous one

you can tell she is starting to change and the way she just brushes off how messed up she is for taking that title makes her such a wild main character

the scene where she started acting all weird about her clothes felt so chaotic because her confidence is just through the roof and it really got to me

Miria looking at people while being a complete narcissist is hilarious and she is definitely not acting like a normal hero would in that situation

Miria acting like she is better than everyone and then losing it when things get spicy is so funny and she is just so full of herself

EPISODE CONTEXT

Sitting at the exact midpoint of a compact four-episode run, Episode 2 is positioned as the critical bridge between the setup of Episode 1 and the escalation expected in Episodes 3 and 4. The premiere would have established Miria's world and premise; this episode almost certainly deepens her situation and raises the tension. What happens here will likely directly feed into the back half of the series.
