Yuusha-hime Miria
Oshimeter
Synopsis
Being a princess already comes with enough responsibility, but Miria's also been handed the title of Hero — which sounds like a dream until you realize it means she's the one responsible for stopping whatever darkness is creeping toward her kingdom. The 4-episode OVA, produced by Majin and based on a game, drops you into a fantasy world built around magic, royal bloodlines, and the weight of being chosen for something you didn't entirely ask for. Early episodes set up Miria's world and the forces gathering against it, giving you just enough of the lore and power system to get invested before things start getting complicated for her. The animation leans into the fantasy aesthetic — think sweeping magical visuals and a soundtrack that actually fits the setting rather than fighting against it. If you've watched Chained Soldier and liked the mix of fantasy action with a protagonist navigating unusual power dynamics, there's overlap here. Fans of The Rising of the Shield Hero's reluctant-hero-in-a-dangerous-world setup will recognize the energy too. Being a hentai OVA, the content is explicit, so that's obviously the baseline expectation going in. But within that, the fantasy framing is more developed than you might expect from the genre — Miria has actual characterization and the world has texture. It's a short commitment at 4 episodes, and if the game-adaptation fantasy-hero premise appeals to you, it delivers on that premise.
