Zoku Sayonara, Zetsubou-Sensei

The first part felt a bit weak to me, but the ending was hilarious. The second part focused on Meru, gave us some background about her, and was really funny too. As for the third part, it basically assumed I was going to like it, it was right. Overall, it was a great and hilarious episode, though it didn’t really feel like a season finale at all. Still, I guess I can’t assume a huge, grand episode just because it’s the finale.

The topic in the first part was really similar to one of the topics in episode 10 of the first season, but it was still funny. The second part really hit me because of my own experiences. The third part also hit me, though only in certain aspects. It’s also pretty weird that they only introduced the name Ikkyu now when he already appeared in the first season. Overall, it was a good episode.

The first part is actually anime-original. It’s a parody of old Japanese detective movies, and even the atmosphere feels similar. Some people might find it boring, but I liked it. The second part was really funny as well. Overall, another great episode.

Though there wasn’t anything randomly crazy in this episode, it was still another great one. I loved the topics in all three parts and they were hilarious, but my favorite was the third part. I really love meta humor. Also, I loved the new ending.

For the first half, you have to know Japanese to understand most of the jokes, but it’s still fun watching Maria go crazy. The second part is hilarious, especially toward the end. The Zetsubou fight is fun but it gets more stale as it goes on. Overall, it’s still a fun episode.

This is a good episode. There weren’t any experimental elements like last week, but it was still enjoyable. My favorite part was the third segment. The third part really felt tailored for Chiri, and she absolutely shined there.

This time, I was able to enjoy it more. The story moves at a fast pace. But if you are a deep thinker you can easily understand the meaning behind each scene even though it is delivered through humor and jokes.

At first, I found the anime quite weird. Haha, sorry for my first impression. The pacing of the visuals is very fast, which can sometimes be overwhelming and confusing to follow.
