The mandatory beach episode to wrap things up! The gang going to Okinawa is a fun setting change. Helping the cliff ghost reunite with her lover was surprisingly wholesome for a finale. Kogarashi promising to make Yuuna happy is a nice wrap-up for the series.
Yes, that felt incomplete, it seems like they were gunning for continuation (which hopefully materializes), but otherwise they should have hinted the viewers a bit about that important piece of lore. But then again, I admit that the show's strength lies in its fairly well written characters and the friendship they formed throughout the series. It's what makes it standout beyond the barrage of fanservice they gave us in its runtime. The animation was decent, the music was acceptabls, not the most technically impressive I've seen, just passable enough. Would I recommend this though? Just for giving us a decent relationshp in a genre like this, sure. But if you find explicit content to be a turn off, then it's a pass for you.
This finale doesn't really feel like a finale at all. Instead of wrapping things up, it introduces even more mystery surrounding Yuna without offering any real resolution, which is disappointing since the anime never received another season. The fanservice is toned down compared to previous episodes, but that alone isn't enough to make for a satisfying ending. Overall, it was a rather weak finale.
