I genuinely didn't know this was an ecchi anime going into it lol. Kogarashi just wanting a cheap room and ending up with a ghost waifu is classic. The ghost mechanics are heavily used for fanservice right out of the gate. I generally find this anime mid, but the character designs are great and the humor lands okay.
For a premiere, it did its job surprisingly quick. It introduced the main characters, went through their history, and established their relationship in rapid succession. Obviously, this is the type of genre where fanservice thrives, both subtle and explicit, yet it is less about grabbing viewers attention and more about humor though, so its fine. The animation flows smoothly all throughout the episode and the art is quite nice. But it's the personality of the cast that stood out the most for me. It did well in catching my interest to be honest, I'll be checking this out for sure.
It feels like a typical harem rom-com, just with a ghost as its main gimmick. That's not necessarily a bad thing, the girls are cute, the visuals are appealing, the fanservice is enjoyable, and it delivers the kind of slapstick humor you'd expect from the genre. That's exactly what I was looking for, so I had a good time with it. If you're not a fan of this style of harem anime, though, you're probably better off skipping it.
