OH jit, there are so many pun jokes in this episode lmao. Even though most of them are pretty basic, they still land surprisingly well, so it's alright, I guess. Also, the animation is way smoother and better than what J.C. Staff usually puts out. For a comedy anime, this level of animation is honestly such a blessing fr.
The intro cutting Akari off... 😭 I just love how good they are at turning even the mundane into comedy. Yui and Kyouko's tsukkomi and boke dynamic always gets me. LOL. That part with Sakurako and Himawari trying to get rid of the snake was chaotic, and Ayano's reaction made it even better. 🤣 This was fun. Ayano is still my favorite here, and I almost forgot how star-studded the voice cast for this is.
Doga Kobo once again flexes its expertise in crafting slice-of-life comedy. The comedic pacing in this episode is spot-on, the visual humor is brilliantly expressive, and the running gag about Akari's 'presence' is executed with a subtle, witty touch. This episode really doubles down on the show's cute yet absurd charm.
