WAT- WHAT IS THIS 10 MINUTES OF TOMFOOLERY AND DESPAIR😭😭😭😭💀Ay nah, this anime has almost everything going for it except a really good soundtrack. The animation is pretty solid, no surprise, it's better than a lot of the generic isekai slop that's been popping up lately. The jokes are classic, but somehow they still land. I genuinely found them funny and enjoyable. That said, the one thing holding it back for me is the background music. I know it's a comedy anime, and overusing dramatic BGM could ruin the jokes, but there are definitely moments where they could sneak in one or two memorable instrumental tracks. It would've made certain scenes feel much more alive without taking away from the comedy.
Ah yes, we're rewatching Yuru Yuri again. It's great to be back. As usual, poor Akari just wants to have her big moment. 🤣 Let the girl dream in peace! Anyway, it's nice to see the girls together again, and hot spring episodes are always fun (minus the weird parts, LOL). Overall, this was a nice start to more chaos. I'm happy they did this in the first ep.
Studio Doga Kobo's visuals and color palette feel increasingly bright and dynamic.
