I don't find the characters compelling, but then again, I don't think it was trying to do that. So far, this feels like a more chill watch, with a soft mystery.
Well, the meaning of the word "Yurei" is explained to us, which gives us more context about what the anime is actually about, so once again, it's an important chapter—not filler, btw. I also want to add that I love Hack's personality, even though I barely understand what they're saying sometimes, haha.
Ok, sure, we got an explanation for that certain element in the show's setting, but the characters' goal remains unanswered. And then there's the issue of them being unreasonably annoying at certain points of the episode for no practical reason. Oh, and another convenient "twist" just happened to pop out of nowhere. I guess we are at least given a rundown on the current situation in their world, which is clearly a facade for something sinister underneath.
