I still feel this plot line is not needed. Also, the whole thing feels rushed as most of the lands were one and done. With what's going on in the human world, this adventure seems like a waste of time.
Having the trajectory of this episode's narrative continue the magical ventures between the sweet spirits and their partners has certainly developed their deep connection and bond with each other even further. Aside from that, even though the art style doesn't have the flawless, high quality animation compared to modern styles, it efficiently delivered the right aesthetic, the atmospheric vibe, and its beautiful and adorable sweets sceneries, which was fascinating to watch.
After the previous adventure, this episode continues exploring the Sweets Kingdom in a fun way. I enjoyed how the story mixes comedy with a bit of exploration, making the magical world feel much bigger than before. The interactions between Team Ichigo and the Sweets Spirits are easily some of my favorite parts, and the episode never feels slow despite the different setting.
