Abruptly, the plot has now been twisted, and I am deeply invested in this progression, as it really helps accelerate the slow burn pace of this story. Moreover, the subtle gestures and developing chemistry of this episode were noticeably pronounced, which really elevates the narrative's underlying romantic emotions.
Finally, we are getting what we signed up for at the beginning of this show! The stakes are raised but imagine the option is either get with your harasser or harasser will 'stop'. I'm curious to see how this will end.
The story starts moving into a more competitive direction here, which immediately changes the atmosphere from previous episodes. I like that the focus isn't only on making sweets, but also on the different ideas and ambitions each character brings. Seeing Johnny, Miya, Ichigo, Kashino, and Lemon together again made me curious about how everything would unfold.
