Episode Context

Sitting at episode 172 of 224, this is deep into the anime-original Waking the Dragons arc, continuing the multi-part filler duel between Joey and Valon that began in episode 169. The previous installment ratcheted up the intensity with both duelists pushing past their limits, and this fourth part drives toward a decisive turning point. The outcome here directly feeds into 'Fighting for a Friend. Part 5,' setting up the next phase of confrontations as the arc moves toward its larger endgame.
