Yozakura Quartet Episode 5: Waiting for You

Honestly, why does it seem like the smaller moments in this episode are better than the bigger ones. The daycare scene here also looks clumsy and even the comedy in it does not land very well. The animation here is still meh, I am starting to think this show barely has any budget.

I honestly think this is what their normal generic episode looks like. Nothing new and out of the ordinary. I like one of their BGM in this ep and I think their music is not bad, overall. Kinda wished there were more of Akina and hime or Kotoha. The kids were a bit creepy, though.

What a cliffhanger and a shocking plot twist! The plot was connecting the dots now. From a rough start to a slow plot building was progress. The side story of Junta was somber and he felt the gloominess of longing he was waiting for. Ao definitely was the highlight of this ep. Still, the dullness of the villain was pretty devastating and unremarkable.
