Yozakura Quartet Episode 4: Looking Back

The character work in this episode was actually good, it was more on small visual details rather than dialogue which I find very interesting. The fight scenes here are just meh, the animation is bland and I can barely feel any emotional tension. Also the way they just introduced a bunch of new characters is just not it.

This episode was boring and average for me. I wish they added more action and creativity on some scenes. Though, the fight scene of the nun with 2 katanas was quite good enough. I was also confused on some parts and wished they explained more on some details.

Quite an interesting episode. The plot deepens with the mystery about Gin and what it reveals after mentioning his name several times up into this ep. This reminded me of Naruto, Sakura, and Sasuke. The backstory was kind of funny, with how that noodle popped out. The music was great, particularly on that ending scene with Akina.
