This is the kind of episode that reminds me why ensemble casts are so fun when they're handled well. Everyone gets a moment, nobody feels useless, and the whole thing moves at a really satisfying pace. It feels like the town itself is fighting alongside the main cast.
Man what an episode! The action scenes are really well done. I like how smooth the animation is and the expression of each of the characters feel genuine especially Hime and Akina. What a blast!
This episode is peak! Probably the epic one since the 2008 adaptation! The animation was top-notch! The art style, visuals, sound effects—totally nailed it! The comedic acts were perfectly executed and the pacing was not rushed nor dragged out. Kotoha's thrilling scene was also remarkable; Akina and Kyousuke's, too. While on Hime's side note, that was a chef's kiss!
