EPISODE CONTEXT
Coming off Episode 5's emotionally closer moments between Abikura and Hiwamura-sensei during the forest school trip, Episode 6 uses a new character introduction to test and reframe those developing feelings in a more public, competitive setting. Sitting at the season's midpoint, this episode is clearly doing foundational work — expanding the supporting cast and adding friction that the second half will likely pay off.
